24-hour hackathon that brings together dozens of young people with the aim of solving a challenge using i4.0 technologies. With students from all over the country, COTEC i4.0 CHALLENGE aims to bring young people closer to the themes of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the COTEC Portugal network of companies.
The first edition was held in Vila Nova de Famalicão, the main theme was data analysis and was attended by young university students and recent graduates from schools across the country. Participants had the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors, solve a problem based on a real case and mix with entrepreneurs.
The final prize was given by the President of the Republic to the Ramiroquai team, composed of students from the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. The ceremony took place at the closing session of COTEC SUMMIT 2019.
